Lysa (Parent of Maarya and Mika)

My two children, Mika and Maarya, are students in Ms. Joey’s class. Mika first joined Ms. Joey for Math in P4 (2023), followed by Science in P5 (2024). We are extremely grateful for the positive impact Ms. Joey has had on our children’s academic journeys. Our children had been struggling with certain subjects for quite some time, and we decided to seek additional help at Arche Academy. From the moment they started lessons with Ms. Joey, we noticed a significant difference. She is not only an expert in her field but also incredibly patient and understanding. Ms. Joey takes the time to tailor her teaching approach to each child’s needs, ensuring they thoroughly grasp each concept before moving on.

The results speak for themselves—our children’s confidence and grades have improved dramatically, and they now approach their studies with renewed motivation. The learning environment at Arche Academy is both welcoming and conducive to focused learning, making it a place where our children truly enjoy learning.

Mika and Maarya have both benefitted greatly from Ms. Joey’s teaching methods, which are easy to understand and well-paced. Mika’s ability to apply concepts has improved, and we have seen notable progress in his work and results. For example, his Science grade improved from 50-60% to 75% in his end-of-year exam. Maarya, who started with Ms. Joey in May 2023 while in P1, had struggled with Math (scoring 60-70%). However, we are incredibly proud of her achievement in scoring 91% on her recent end-of-year P2 Math exam.

Ms. Joey’s commitment to teaching and her ability to keep students engaged is truly impressive. She is patient and provides the necessary support tailored to each child’s weaknesses. As we continue to work together, we are hopeful that Mika will excel in his upcoming PSLE in 2025.
